Has anyone used these and can provide some well rounded experience? Performance on game at different ranges, seating depth preference, ease of getting them to shoot accurately etc?
The 7mm 155 TLR has a crazy good BC but not cheap.

I use 180gn tlrs for a while in my 300wsm.
Worked as advertised. Found them easy to get to shoot accurately. Never once recovered a projectile always entry and exit.
Loaded them for a mate in 300 win mag. Very accurate around .3 moa were easy to get a load, can’t recall seating depth but didn’t have to muck around. He shot reds and fallow here and most plains game in Africa with them. Great terminal performance at all ranges he shot from 30m to 850m. BC was accurate for calculating drops. We recovered some projectiles and the opened up well with high weight retention. I’m not certain but I think they have been replaced with their Terminal Ascent, these have scallops on the side, they were a big disappointment possibly due to weight variations we measured between projectiles, couldn’t get them to group. Have chatted to guys in the states who have similar experience on both counts. If you can get some TLRs I doubt you will be disappointed.
Arnt they discontinued, but now called terminal ascent, similar but different to the tlr?
They are discontinued, they have been replaced by the terminal ascent, they had somw coating inconsistencies accoring to their marketing video so went back to the old coating that is on the trophy bonded.
Interesting, didn’t realise they had been replaced and sounds like the replacement isn’t as good? Stick with the knowns for now I think. Thanks
Would like to see how these go in a 264 win mag type calibre.
One day I'll have mine going lol
