I normally use fed match, will I notice any difference in my varmint 223 if some of my loads have gold medal match and some have the std??
I've run out half way through my cases!
Cheers

From what I have been told they are the same but the match have better QC before going in the box?
The range of what we think and do is limited by what we fail to notice. And because we fail to notice that we fail to notice, there is little we can do to change; until we notice how failing to notice shapes our thoughts and deeds
The match grade should have less std deviation than std primers but really I doubt its of much noticable effect unless at the limit of range. So if you are trying to get 500~600yds out of the 223 or 1000yds out of a 308 in a match, use them to pick up the odd point, maybe 2. Anything closer eg if shooting a deer at at the cartridges effective range, i doubt there is a difference to measure, maybe one cartridge is going to have 1/4MOA or something out of 100.
Im assuming you are not loading the cartridge at its limit, then swapping primers without backing off and testing is a bad idea.
I use 210s and 210Ms I cant say Ive noticed any differences myself......as long as I beat EBF I dont care...

PS 20 years ago it may well be that there was a bigger difference in match grade or not but these days I wonder if there is. If anyone knows different Im all ears.

Ok thanks for the answers guys, I feel a little better!
Can't notice any difference in my .308 - groups under .5 MOA with both. I think it's more important to deburr the flash hole and seat the primers to the same depth.
