Only once with federal brass, 300wsm, 168amax, rl17 cant particularly remember the amount of powder but it wasnt over stoked, not over pressure on the first firings, second firings was popping the odd primer, the ones it didnt blow the primer pockets were too loose. But perhaps i got a bad lot?

I have used the ADI brass in .223 Rem for years and never had a problem. The first batch I bought in 2012 I think, still going, 6th or 7th reload by now.

I'd rate them on par with one another. Both fairly consistent and preferable over Hornady and certainly Winchester.

The case heads on Federal can be a bit soft. Have de-primed a fair bit of their 308 from once-fired factory and the pockets are already a bit loose. That said, a mate has used their 7mm Rem Mag stuff exclusively, probably 10+ firings (pretty stout load too) and it's holding up fine - kinda the opposite to Gkp's experience.

ADI's 308 brass is thick and low on capacity. Their 223 brass seems fine.

I use Federal brass in 7mmRemMag and the cases are doing well. No signs of incipient primer pocket expansion, cracked necks, head separations or other woes. About 5 loads on the cases at 2950/162gr.

I've had good run with Federal brass in a variety of calibres, non mag and magnum. Tends to be a bit heavier/thicker than say Norma or Lapua.

No experience with ADI but I've had a good run with Federal in my 7mm rem mag and 308.

Using Federal in my 7mm08 as well and so far so good, only done a couple firings with that stuff but seems to be going well.

Actually now that I think about, I had a really good run with Winchester brass in my rem mag as well, think I got close to 10 firings and I didn't start getting split shoulders until about the 5th or 6th firing.

I'll be using whatever I can get my hands on shortly

I've only started using ADI brass so not qualified to comment
However Federal blue box 6.5x55 brass I've used for years running a 120gr BT with 48Grs of ADi 2209 in a 6.5x55 for decent speed and I must have reloaded that brass 7-8 times and have only had to junk one piece in all that time. I only F/L size when I have to, whether that has anything to do with it, I don't know..

    Peoples mileage vary I guess.
