Interesting you free recoil your rifle. I've always had better groups with my left hand on top of the scope especially with a pod on concrete, YMMV.

You need a longer gun.
I wouldn't call it free recoil; I control the rifle with light loading of the shoulder into the bipod. The left hand controls the elevation with the rear bag. But can't argue with the results (when I don't fuck it up). e.g. the first round of the day w/143gr loadQuote:

Yes, the Amax seated fine with no damage - just the new ELDs were damaged by the standard seater stem.Quote:

That was pretty serious marking on the bullet until you changed the stem. What neck tension are you running? Are you using Redding S type dies?
Can't remember the neck tension, like .004 or something? I think a .290 or .291 bushing. Yes Redding S bushing die with TiN bushing and no expander.Quote:
