fire count on brass how importent is it?

I normally as most of you do I guess keep my brass organized and only use brass that has all been fired the same amount of times
however I managed to get some brass mixed 1,2 and 3 times fired

how much will this affect my groups its only a hunting gun so don't need a hellishly accurate group so if we are talking points of inches im not worried
will shoot .5 or smaller on a good day but if that goes up to just under an inch who cares
anyone have an idea of how much it will affect it

all the brass is the same brand (Remington) and has all been prepped so there all the same dimensions wise etc etc

probably bugger all! but if you had twice fired and 6 or 9 firings in with the twice fired you might see a difference.
the more you use the brass the more the necks get hardened. with different hardness you get different neck tension. so the rounds act different.

but like you say if your hunting and are happy with an inch or so, no big deal, baze them up.

First I've heard this. My brass is all mixed up from once fired and up.

If you anneal the cases and have minimal head space with loads that are not extreme, you'll find very little difference in brass.

From a aggressive action semi auto, especially a military design, brass life is pretty poor.
I sort all my loaded ammo and mark on them with a vivid how many fires.

I used to be pretty pedantic about keeping all my brass separate dependent on number of firings.... Now I just load them up as I need.

Everything is within 1-2 firings of each other though....absolute max.

Interesting. How often should you anneal?

I have used cases with split necks and reloaded about 8 times and still shot 10mm groups with a 308. and that was with mixed types of brass withdifferent number of loads as well. And I gave never annealed the cases either.

I thought they would shoot like shit but still shot the same. Depends on the rifle I guess

cheers guys yeah aslong as it stays at an inch or there about im happy the furthest I would shoot anything with it is about 250-300 anyway

as far as annealing goes I don't bother I find I get 6-7 fireings out of brass before I spilt necks and that's plenty in my mind since my 6mm likes hot loads generally speaking...... mind you I do have over 400 brand new ones on the shelf which will last till new barrel time

I got up to 20 firings with annealed cases in my Sako .223. Mild loads and neck sized.
