I recently had this issue, trimming had nothing to do with it, the shoulders on the cases weren't getting bumped enough in my old Lee dies. I found by Turning the sizing die another 1/4 to half turn into my press sorted it, apparently you can also use shims under your case holder on the press. I'll bet dollars to cents this is your issue not case length
Yep this^^^ but 1/4 to 1/2 a turn is way too much....an 1/8 to 1/16th a turn at a time or you can end up with excessive headspace and case head separation issues.
