Thread: first rangeday of 2025 for me

ok so after my last day at the range i went home dejected , iwa sall over the place with my reloads (125gr sst and 170gr hornady bulldozers)
so between then and now i did some soul searching and i think i found my issues ......
1: i was trusting the dipper that came with the lee kit turns out the 2.8cc dipper only hold 38ish gr of powder
2: projectiles werent seated out far enough for optimal length

much better results today after dropping another 6ish gr of powder and pulling the projectiles as far as the mag would allow.......
targets set t 100yds




now this aint as good as some on here but this is a budget rifle (ruger amrican)nd i only need minute of deer so good enough for me
