I will check em in the week re powder im laughing becuase more than likely thats the prob ha ha fuck ill laugh if thats the reason.

that wont be the problem haha, the primer would have sent the pill on its way im thinking, probably would have ended up stuck half way down your barrel.... Never used federal primers so cant comment but possibly they could have got wet, or they were just a dud batch

Nope - in a pistol you will stick a bullet just into the rifling due to small case space (never had it happen in 9mm but had 2 in 45) , but in a rifle never had it happen and doubt you could generate enough pressure to even move a 55gr in 223 due to volume of case

Was loading 1000rds of 223 on the Dillon and ran out of powder about 20rds before the end. Ph rang, came back and continued to knock the last 20 out on the ph, and dump them into the ammo tin.. THEN I clicked - started weighting them 1 by 1 and gave up.
Found them next time at the range - good for practising stoppages with the AR
