    I found it took 2 or 3 firings before my new cases got tight to chamber even though i didnt have the die wound down far enough. So there no hurry to measure them at first, as long as they go in easily and the bolt closes easily. You ll ptobably need to tighten it down a bit moresoon anyway.

    Eventually, what you want is that the fired case base to shoulder datum (.350” dia probably) should decrease by about .002” to .005” after FL sizing.
