Happy to meet at the handloaders range to show you how it's done. Bring your rifle, brass, powder, primers, projectiles, and dies. 270's pretty straight forward and AR2213SC works well for pretty much any bullet weight. I have a handful of 130gr SST's which I tried giving away on here but had no takers, you're welcome to them.

Thanks for the offer. I will head out there tomorrow (tuesday open night). I don't have any powder or primers at the moment but can pick some up after work. I take it, from your comment, that AR2213SC is a good start for the powder. For primers i believe i need Large Rifle Primers. Any particular brand?

@debo - what calibre are you wanting to load for? The conversation so far has centred on 270 Winchester that the OP mentioned, for which AR2213 is a great choice for 130 to 150 grain projectiles.

Which primers to use depends a fair bit on the calibre and powder choice. Give us some more information on calibre and intended use and we'll be able to make suggestions.

Of course, sorry. I have a 270, 243, 223. I got some reloading gear with all of them when I bought the rifles of trade me. I would like to start reloading the 270 first. I can easily hold off reloading the others until to grips with reloading 270.
