poke it ontop of a good charge of 2213sc or w760 and will be great
they are stupidly easy to get to shoot well
57.5 of the old 4831sc worked in my old Sako finnbear, don't think was a warm load at all.
59gr 2213sc. Flattens them.
Any powder thats available. Have w760 H2213.
Do you want some 2213sc? Send you some down?
58 to 59 grs of AR2213SC should get you between 2900 and 3000 fps, that was using 130 gr Noslar Solid Base bullets but should do about the same with Hornady Bulllets.
Nick Harvey was right about the big boiler room of the 270. 760 replicates 2209 which is 243 country.
52gr win 760 130gr sst job dun
Have shot lots of reds tahr everything with this load for the last 15yrs
Well funnily enough 4064 is meant to go alright in it too.
Jack O'Connor had an accurate load for it before H4831 came out.
Try it out for me lol
There's a good thread on forum for 145's in 270 with quite a few different loads data in common factory rifles.
For 130s to get factory vel of 3060 fps:
2209 54-55.- 55.5 gns.
Ww760 53.5 - 55 gns
2213 58.5 - 60 gns
22 inch tubes and long throats may need the top end of the range.
24 inch tubes with custom chambers the lower end.
Based on my .270 exp.

I am after the same performance as corelokt in my .270. Was recommended the interlocks as well. I have Reloaders 26 how does that compare with 2213sc
Greetings,
The grail load for the 130 grain in the .270 is 60 grains of H4831 which is close to max. Dates from the 1950's and is still in Hodgdons data today. Work up to the velocity though.
GPM.
Just highlights the early lesson learnt when starting down the reloading path. Each rifle is different so start low with powder charge. Never got past 53gns of 2209 before bolt got heavy to lift and settled on a nice accuracy node at 51gn and around 2700fps. That’s a long way from others I’ve seen.
