I would just look up what can be gotten off the manufacturers website. Failing that, send them a message

Thanks actually got an answer, from another forum.

    Answer #1:
What calibre? On mine for 6.5mm cal it has 6.71 for the (grooves) value. You can change this by clicking on it and typing in your own value if you know it for your barrel. Mine is 6.5CM chambered.
    Answer #2:
Grooves = barrel diameter to the base of grooves in the rifling.

Is GRT still taking data and providing updates?

I thought everything was on hold since he passed away.

The site has been taken up by patreon and they have pushed the expiry date out to something like 2040.

"I just wanted to reach out and let you know that my husband Gordon passed away on January 19th 2022.

Until further notice, this site stays online. Please note that Patreon contributions have been paused.

Initially, no additional submissions should be made to the GRTLab, or Translations, as no one has access to service the data.
Therefore, it will be impossible to update Powder Models, Calibers, and Bullet to the GRT database as an official release until the possibilities of continuing Gordon's fine work are explored."

Edit: I think they lost the password

@Oldbloke that sounds about right. Lost of password.

Wife and I just wrote all ours down and stuck in a safe place. Also did the same for all or investments so that at least the other is not left high and dry in for when the day comes.

I do hope that they can get more data up and running its a really good program.

Pretty sure it was mentioned on the Web site in the above statement about 6 months ago. But now deleted.

My bet is it was in Gordon's head when he passed. Anyone's guess if they figure it out.

@Oldbloke I think patreon is a platform from which you donate / fund projects such as GRT. The last upload of grt I did had /patreon at the end of it. Instead of it being updated fortnightly? By Gordon the current version will run until 2040 or so.
