All the stuff I read of his quoted 87 grain spire point.
I was a 100 grain BTSP fanatic at the time (still am) and remember thinking 87 was to small.
In an article of Graeme Henry's I remember him saying he watched Omlo smash both shoulders of a bull Tahr with a 87 grain and stating "a 243 and 87 grain spire points in the hands of Graeme Omlo was definitely a big game cartridge".
As stug said they are very hard to find now.
I've been using 85 interbonds but Hornady seem to have discontinued them.
85 grain Speer hot cors shoot well but aren't as tough.
    Micky Duck likes this.
    Overkill is still dead.
