Thread: H4895 in 223

AR2206H (H4895) is currently my go to powder for my .223, .308 and .303 rIfles. In my T3x .223 25.5 grains with the 55 grain projectile gives 3,130 fps from the standard 570mm barrel and 25 grains with the 69 grain Match King gives 2,960 fps. Both are just under ADI/ Hodgdon max but are all that I can easily fit in the case. The cases are R-P which have a bit more capacity than other US cases and a lot more capacity than some continental cases. In my .308 47 grains of AR2206H gave 2,900 fps with the 125 grain TNT, 44 grains gave 2,670 fps with the Hornady 150 grain Interlock and 43 grains gave 2,570 fps with the 165 grain Hornady Interlock. All in my Rem 700 with a 510mm barrel. The .308 loads are 1 to 2 grains under max. My light loads in the .303 are great as well. A very flexible powder.
