@Tahr what are your thoughts on 270WSM vs 6.5PRC ?
If you have a 6.5prc you don't need a 270wsm. But if you have a 270wsm you don't need a 6.5prc because its the next level. I rate the 270wsm better than the prc by a good margin. In my experience the 270 wsm kills quicker, and is less fussy to load and tune.Quote:

Here's a nice fallow buck I recently shot. 300 yards. 117 grn .270 Hammer Hunter fair fizzing along. Hit low in the chest (above the brisket) as he moved out of sight right on dark.
Although the shot was low you can see on the exit how the petals have increased the fatal damage area. Them flying around must be like a grenade going off inside the animal.
