    Help

Hi just after some help trying to figure out what I'm doing wrong . When ever I try to seat bullet it is crushing brass I have not changed anything with die and never had this problem before. I have been using graphite on neck when seating with no issues until now

I assume your seating die is screwed in too far and you're crimping before your projectile is fully seated. If you must crimp do it in a separate step.
Unscrew your seating die out a few turns and then screw the seating stem in further.

New type of rimmed brass. And it looks like the inside mouth is chamfered, interesting.

And run a case without projectile up into the die to see what it feels like ie any resistance.

Beautiful cases :-) after going thru your die...
    Nicely chamfered too.

Nah, we've all done similar things some of us even late in our reloading careers.

here a weird bit of a tip for you (yeah yeah I know thats what the leaper said to the hooker) I wanted to give my .222 rem brass a bit of a trim to length...but only have a .223 lee trimmer pilot...... turns out if I dont use the base bit (that goes in drill and holds the case) the pilot bottoms out inside the case in pretty much the perfect spot.....so my cases are all now trimmed and very close to the same length....the overall length difference is so close as to be non issue..all within spec.
DO NOT try this with your normal round/correct case...the mighty .270 win doesnt look right with a super short neck...one of my early reloading lessons LOL.

I think most reloaders have developed new case designs that would never fit a chamber! That's how come you got so many correct replies
