here a weird bit of a tip for you (yeah yeah I know thats what the leaper said to the hooker) I wanted to give my .222 rem brass a bit of a trim to length...but only have a .223 lee trimmer pilot...... turns out if I dont use the base bit (that goes in drill and holds the case) the pilot bottoms out inside the case in pretty much the perfect spot.....so my cases are all now trimmed and very close to the same length....the overall length difference is so close as to be non issue..all within spec.
DO NOT try this with your normal round/correct case...the mighty .270 win doesnt look right with a super short neck...one of my early reloading lessons LOL.
