Thread: Help needed : 7MM Blaser Mag load advice

Im trying to shorten my load development time.

Ive got 180ELDMs, 162ELDX, Norma Brass, AF2217, some Rl26 and 2225 at my disposal. Who can help me get started. 24in Proof barrel, Lone Peak Ti Action 1/8.4 twist.

I also have 168 VLD and 160 TMK whcih I use in my SAUM .

I've had great results with RL26 and 180 Berger VLDs. Imagine that 180ELDMs would be similar, guess it depends also on your throat set up and seating depth, etc etc. Suggest starting off around 67gn with the 180's and working up carefully.
I ended up around 68 - 69gns with VLDs, cant recall the exact figure off the top of me head

I run 68gr of rl26 with both the 180eldm and 180vld for 3050fps

First of all strap your shoes on next grab all the eldm and eldx you have walk down to the crapys and cash in.... na I ran 68gn of rl26 with 175 eldx for 3060 210 feds and Norma brass I then went 69gn of 2225 180 vld never cronied but same hole over 5 charges it just loved it @Gkp is the man for 180 eldm and 7bm I'd say

69 of rl26 with the 180eldm, no pressure signs @3060fps and a single ragged hole.
I found the 180 eldm to perform well on game up close and out far.
I have got an accurate load with the 145lrx barnes doing 3440fps. Haven't shot a red with it yet but I reckon it would knock it into next week at that speed.
