Quite clever, I have an array of sized cases with slightly flared mouths and the base cut off and use them pretty much the same way except I just keep the bullets going in and pick the lubed ones off the top.
hi @Marty Henry i got the case idea from your post but i had trouble trying to cut the case even with my limeted gear so i thought a pusher would do the trick cheers
excellent
you sold your lube sizer . . . and now your mucking around with empty caes, that is a giant step backwards

@rossi.45 hi yip i thought i new best, and i would just use alox only shootin 44/40 so no great big volumes needed theres somthing neat about a diy that actually works cheers
I use a similar homemade lube but it sets moderately hard. I warm it and make it fluid then pour it into a tray with projectiles standing in the tray and pour till it fills up to the top lube groove let it cool, then put in the fridge for a short bit to make the lube harder, then just push them out. Job done.
I use this in a 44/40 yellow boy, 577 2 band Enfield’s .45 and .38 Hawkins and Remington revolving rifle.
