Hornady 7mm 180 Grian ELD-Match Load Data for 7mm Rem Mag

    Hi,
Does anyone have load data from Hornady for their 7mm 180 Grain ELD-Match projectiles in 7mm Rem Mag?
I can't find data anywhere on the internet.

    Thanks.

Who is chambering your 28 Nosler?

What minimum twist do the 180's need?

Might be a bit slow to stabilise the long 180's, then again it might be sweet.

Even if they don't actually keyhole, my understanding Kip is that the BC would typically be degraded by running with less than optimal stability so that one might well be better off sticking with lighter projectiles that can be fully stabilised by a 1:9.5 twist and where the BC for these then matches the specified figures. One of the online gyroscopic stability (SG) calculators will tell you. Apologies if I've further derailing the thread.

I think my Hardy barrel is a 1:8 twist from memory. My issue is going to be my Tikka mag length for the 7mm Mag.

Did you end up giving them a go? Have been playing with them in my tikka 7mmRM with ok results. Used ADI 180gr Berger data

Not yet, I still have a couple hundred 162 ELD-M to get through, but I am very keen to give them a go. I will order a box next month sometime and if they are any good, I will just use the 162 ELD-Ms in my bush pig.
