    Id say it'll be sweet as it wont be going at light speed out of a 16'' barrel, their all I used for years but the 180gn variant . And the interlock it a hell of a bullet so so SST must be a tipped interlock huh

    Funny thing though is that while some people really like 130gr SSTs in 270s, I know one guy that has enough of them to think the opposite. I get the impression that 130ssts in a 270 are quite a bit more explodey than an interlock

    Yes the tip will make them more explosive than it’s lead nose alternative the difference between the ops application and a 130 gn in a .270 is the .270 is sending a 130gn at light speed

    No. The SST is a plastic tip over a hollow point and a thin jacket, a proper Interlock is a cup and core lead filled job, much less "explody" I used a lot of 165 SST in a 16" barreled .308 on Tahr, and they worked just fine out to 300yd, pass through and lots of terminal damage, wouldn't go near a light for cartridge SST.
