Need to print that one, excellent info, thks for posting
I know a lot but it seems less every day...
Hard to come across brass for the 17H here unless your going to form .22H or buy factory ammo.
I just threw out my first spilt neck after 7 firings the other day. Some pockets are getting a bit loose but the ginex primers will get me through another cycle or 2 before I have to bin them
After reading that info when Tilleyman posted it all those years ago I managed to pick up some RWS brass in 22 Hornet and 222
Should keep you going for a while
It has, although not all are 22Hornet now, some are 17AH, 17HH and even 20AH.
what a fabulous stash of RWS.
I basically use the process as outlined in the below thread.
I do have a 20AH full length die that I use as an intermediate sizer when going to 17AH or 17H.
RWS and Privi brass does need annealed prior to fireforming, I haven't tried Win or Rem 22 Hornet brass.

I was interested to read the differences in case dimensions in the Saubier link. The BSA Hunter short action I had in Hornet years back never shot worth a damn & the cases were always bulged out to one side. I only had Rem & Win cases & both were as bad as each other. Obviously the cases weren't parallel to the bore when it went off, so it wasn't a hard call to move it on. I'm guessing it was a max chamber too, the bulge above the web was quite visible.
