    hot loads? 243

    im geting some 95 grn sst soon and so i would like you experts to please pass me a receipe or two plse
    for my 243.And could someone tell me what powder is used in those hornady sst super performance rounds? and all info is appreciated.

    Ill let you know. Just got 60loaded by a mate. The superformance bullets use superformance powder

    Why a hot load? The 243 is overbore. An accurate load is what you want with a good tagging projectile.Try 87 gr Hornady with 48gr 2213SC. or 85 gr Sierra with same powder. Just loading 85gr Barnes for some big Gizzie stags [having a meeting Friday nite].

    Barnes from a.243 should drop it with any reasonable shot. They really bring the slighter calibers into their own

    +1 A Barnes or Hornady GMX really makes a small calibre preform

    48gr N165 105gr a-max in standard 243
    40gr Ar2208 80gr barnes ttxs where what mine was

    Start 3 down drop that an go up

    Shit do they what i dropped a pig with the barnes 6.5 ttsx impressed with the energy transfer, i just got the 127gr lrx for my 264 win mag

    Ended up taking the humble 223 x2 and getting 9 with 53gr and 64 gr.
