Hi Guys,
What's the current situation regarding bringing in projectiles from Aussie?

Have you tried asking the shop that you're wanting to buy from?
Resident 6.5 Grendel aficionado.
No issue importing, but exporting from Australia may have some conditions (they have strange laws)
Looking at private sale away from dealers in this case.
i can get them shipped to an Australian address and then shipped to NZ for free with other stuff.
Just wondering what paperwork required at both ends?
I've had scopes etc shipped from dealers and that was pain-free but wondered if projectiles needed permits etc.
Theoretically you need a export permit from Aust. Pain in the ass. In the past I’ve just send woodleighs to a mate in Canada. Worked out ok but could go to shite I guess...
Hmmm , same situation here as I want some Woodleighs also
What NZ species do you want Woodleigh bullets for @Lucky, out of interest?
Just...say...the...word
@Flyblown nothing in particular but they make a .318” 8mm bullet , and I don’t think anyone else makes them
Well reading the Australian export data it seems projectiles are OK to send out of the country.
Just in case I have sent an email to the below address asking them the question. I'll post their reply for those interested.
firearms.enquiries@homeaffairs.gov.au
I'll pop in to my friendly Manukau firearms officer next week to check I'm OK with NZ also.
I rang Woodleigh a few days back , they will not post to NZ
Hi Lucky,
If all checks out OK i'll give you my Australian contact address and could look to bring these over with mine if it all works out.
deadeye dick used to sell woodleigh
If you can't kill it with bullets, dont f*ck with it.
How many do you want..........
Also got some of these........New Norma cases in 8x57J ( for 318 projectiles)
In actual fact I have a complete kit for using the cases and projectiles lol.........
