Thread: Howa Mini 223 factory loads

I have just brought a Howa mini 223 and was wondering what other owners had found to be best factory loads? Thanks.

I’m fortunate in that I scored cheap Belmont 77 gr and fmj 62 gr of same brand before things disappeared. The 77 works exceptionally well in my Howa 1:8 twist, the lighter pill is fine for range work out to 300. Check H&F shops as their bulk .223 branded with their name is Belmont as I understand.

I have good luck with ppu 55gr sp in my howa 1500. Cheap too!

I use Buffalo with the 55gr Sierra Gameking projectile. Accurate and deadly on goats and fallow. Haven't tried it on reds yet, But it's been hard to get hold of since before Xmas

fiocchii 55gn sp works mint in mine but then so has pretty much every factory offering i have tried in it

Mine is the same , that combo is deadly
