Well I actually found that in the lathe at a decent speed the drill bit was pretty well self centering and they came out very nicely

Now I need to test expansion into damp sawdust and recover them to see if its even worth the effort

    405 grain solid
    385 6x6mm hollow
    355 6x10mm hollow

I have a mountain of wet sawdust so that will be my best option for fast results

I do have a bullet baffle box but it was built and used to test sub sonic bullet expansion with 240 grain 44 bullets and I think the 45-70 super sonic would blow it to pieces
