    IMR 4064 in 7mm08

Anyone using IMR 4064 in 7mm08?

Any bullet weight but I I tend to use it with 160 class projectiles at first and possibly some light varminty type projectiles as well (for those long range bunny/hare situations).

I normally use AR 2208 but couldn't find any locally so picked this up instead.

    Any feedback greatly appreciated

It's the equivalent to 2208 in the adi manual, 120gn Nosler bt with 45gn will see you flying...no more bunny!

That sounds like a bloody good friday night do those 120bts go any good on deer? Neck shots only sort of situation for reds, shoulder shooting for fallow?

    Greetings,
Shot some comparative loads of IMR4064 (old manufacture) and AR2208 in my .308 yesterday. IMR4064 chronographed faster than AR2208 so a bit of caution might be required in your 7mm-08.
    Regards Grandpamac.
