Thread: Just the tip......7 rem mag A-Tip load development

Have been away hunting most of this week, shot a few deer however they were all inside 250 yards so I used Sako blade factory ammo (conveniently it shoots almost the same P.O.I only 1/2" lower).
I happily would have used the A-Tips at 200+ yards, however the situation called for a quick shot so no time to be fumbling around changing ammo.
I did however take the opportunity to shoot a couple of goats at 530 yards and it absolutely pole axed them both were bang flop results.
Granted only a very small sample so far, but I'm happy to keep using them for know, keeping my sako blade rounds for spook and shoot situations.
