No chance....the Lupo would go before either the Finnbear or the Featherweight ......none are on the chopping block in case any of you are getting ideas.

You reckon you should have had it bedded before starting load development?

It's gonna get bedded anyway, can't see it getting worse. Will be bedded around the recoil lug, tang and also adding pillars. It is already fully free floated.
To put in perspective the seating depth I settled on the group pictured was 2 x 3 shot groups shot 5 minutes apart. Individually both those 3 shot groups were easily sub moa. It's more than good enough even if bedding doesn't improve grouping.

Frustrating day at the range today, adjusted the scope and sent 3 down range, it sprayed them all over the place I then sent another 3 down range same deal, I was getting frustrated so packed the rifle up will re visit this another day, I know to just leave it when I'm getting frustrated so that's exactly what I did.
I previously shot 6 rounds with the same load and it stacked them with good tight ES, I don't know why it's spraying them now they are loaded to the same specs.
Is it bedding, is it scope mounts moving ? Stuffed if I know. The only difference between today and the other day is that I didn't have the magnetospeed hanging off the barrel. All my previous experience tells me that normally this might show a slight POI change but I have never experienced this causing a difference in group size. Next time I go back to the range I'll chuck the magnetospeed back on just to rule that out but I'm fairly confident that isn't the issue.

Of course I loaded 50 rounds up thinking I was all sorted

This has been my experience too for the most part however i had it happen twice where i had to re visit seating depth after removing magnetospeed. Both times i found the seating depth it liked to be very close to where it was happy with magnetospeed on (within 30 thou).

You might get away with leaving your loaded rounds and just bumping a few of them down a little shorter in a ladder and see how you go.

Yup will give that a go too, just know better than to keep sending lead down range when I'm frustrated, will try magnetospeed on, then will try bumping seating depth to see if things improve if that doesn't work. Heck I could go back to the range and everything could be sweet as.....

When I had a magnetospeed I always made sure I did the attached and un attached at the same range session. Also observed some loads that grouped better with the MS attached. Stands to reason as the MS will act like a tuner and could either improve or degrade group sizes.
