    Kestrel elite and accuracy first

I have just seen that Colby Hodnett has released 4 videos going though the kestrel and the accuracy 1st new menu that they have put on with the firm ware update.
An amazing bit of kit which I consider for long range essential.
I havnt watched it yet but will be soon.
Theres lots of little tricks that no doubt he will be showing as well.https://www.facebook.com/98750071800...0270342392802/

Just watched them and they cover wind dots and milling wind and aerodynamic jump but not speed drop yet.
Takes a bit of getting your head around it but works well once you have sussed it

That's what the solutions look like
The speed drop is what ever your range is in metres just deduct 1.8 and that gives you the correct elevation adjustment or hold between 246m
    And 645m.
    Pretty tricky but awesome!
You can even reserve you scope 1.8 mils down and then just dial your metres with out having to do the math.
Eg 500 m is 3.2 mils if speed drop is 1.8.
    Very cool bit of kit

    Crazier mate!
Not to bad as been on the digger filling in troughs and gates and getting wood in.
Then got another hundred zombie 6.5 rounds loaded last night.
Nothing roaring on the farm yet though

been doing the speed drop since his dad did a school done here its very handy. But everyone needs to works it out for their gun. I cant just use 1.8 on mine. My old 260 was -2+2 450= 4-2 and 5=2 to get 2.7mils. was good between 350 and 650 to within .2mils

I have the one with the conX range finder, haven't had a decent play with them yet but look to do calcs and ballistics quite well, don't think mine does the speed drop thing though.

The great thing is that the latest firmware update in the 5700 works it all out for you on the day.

@andyanimal31 is there a formula for yards and moa or is it only mil based?
