Totally agree and I really agonised over getting the labradar instead. For the amount of load development I do it was hard enough to justify the V3 price but the confidence in it's accuracy (and not having the optical set up issues on range day) is totally worth it.
The method that seems to work for me is a 10 shot ladder test, pick the most likely nodes and shoot for groups. Then check the MV ES and SD after that.
If I've got speed data to look at when doing the groups it seems to cloud my judgement as to the most accurate group.
Guess it's hard to lose that more speed need.![]()
