    My suggestion for using a USB power pack (which I do) is to mount it using double sided sticky Velcro and then make sure there is no load on the cable to connection.
    No issues with muze breaks, just make sure the barrel/break is behind the radar unit do blast doesn't "wash over" it, it's more to ensure you don't knock the unit over but blast can also create false triggers and can overload the microphone pick ups, as you have noted.
