Thread: Lapua re-stock in NZ... when?

have been battling to find this out and wonder if anyone is in the know..

I haven't heard anything from the importer at all so does anyone know when we might get Lapua components back on the shelves?

Belmont claim they placed an order late 2019 believe it of not. I'm getting to the not believing view point. Have spoken to them numerous times they claim they don't know and can't find out. Hey maybe they are broke or just don't give a crap about the brand. No help to you but it is what it is. I have had to change all my comp rifles over to another brand of bullets as I have run out. Excellent product at a fair price but no supply.

Have also heard that Lapua has been back ordered for a few years now, think there's more chance of getting 147gr ELD-Ms than Lapua brass which is saying something.

How longs a piece of string? I no first hand how hard it is at the moment with clients barking saying whens it going to be here whens it going to be here I could pull a date out of my ass but thatd be dishonest. Iv being told at least 10 dates that haven't happened but hey mist of a pandemic and all that .To my dipshit clients it seems like I'm beating around the Bush but truth be told I'm not getting answers to questions based around orders so how can I give one? Chances are the did place an order in 2019 or why bother with the riddle .. these are businesses not dick measuring contests. Unfortunately it's not here and once it is every one can roll out the red carpet for hornady and lapua or winged and boycott them itll take years for this to come right because no ones going to buy a box at a time or 2 white man greed will rap the stock for a long time to come back orderings what grinds me

Getting info on product availability has always been difficult with Belmont and predates the pandemic.

I gave up ages ago using Lapua rf ammo and went with Eley whose importers seem to be able to provide a degree of certainty around stock arrivals, even with delays tbrown in.

Love Lapua brass and fortunately I'm well covered for that right now.
