Thread: A Lee -314-10 die For what purpose?

Lee -314-10 die


Ok Chaps and chappeses, what have I got. It is stamped Lee -314-10 but much Googling fails to produce any information. I bought this some time ago , forgot about it and now that I have found it again, I have no idea what it is for apart from 303 British .


Image 1 Shows
That the red case it came in. ... which could just be a "red herring"
That the neck of a 303 brass will fit in one end.
That the small metal piece will fit in the other end.
Not saying that is where they should, only just that they can.
No way will they fit were the positions swapped.




Image 2 shows that the small metal thing is a nice fit in the neck of the brass.




Image 3 shows that the die is also a nice fit in the red plastic container.



If anybody could provide the correct description / purpose of "Thing", I would be most grateful as I can probably find out how to use it.

OH of COURSE......NOW I remember now buying it around the time I imported a 303 Brit mould which I haven't yet used and also buying some gas checks, I looked at them several times today but failed to make the connection.

DUH

My thanks I'll mark the red container in case I go more senile too quickly..
