    Load Data for the 25-303?

I'm currently using 42gr AR2209 under a 100gr Remington bullet. I'd like to try Winchester 780 Supreme. Has anyone used this powder in one before? I have a 'projected' starting load of 45.7gr of W780 with a 'projected' velocity of 2930fps but would like confirmation. I have found no book load data for the 25-303 for W780 (there's not much out there on the 25-303).

ADI guide has limited (no starting, but recommended max load) info for their 2206, 2208 and 2209 powders, have a look at the website.

    Hey 303Guy

I have loads for the 25-303. I will dig them out for you. I have been shooting Sierra 90gr Blitzkings very accurate for varminting, 100gr prohunters for Goats, pigs and deer, and 90 gr game kings also for Goats and if a pig or deer walks out. All my loads are with AR2208.

I have a Nick Harvey Manual with 250-303 load data in it.

I could photograph the pages and upload if you want.

    Cheers

    I had a 303-25 many years ago (40+ years!).
Custom built on a Mauser action.
A very nice rifle, and very accurate.
The old SMLE action is quite weak, and I'm a bit worried that no-one mentions their load data in relation to the rifle action.
303Guy, I guess that means you have a SMLE action?
Just maybe me getting paranoid in my old age, but I worry when loads are mentioned with no details about the actual rifle these loads are used in.
