    Load data needed

Hi Guys looking for more loads for the 3006 iv looked on a few powder manufactures websights like Hodgdon they have a useful chart that covers different powder Hodgon, Imr & Winchester but only have 2 projectiles to match up to the powder

Take Aim at Rifle Reloading Data | Hodgdon Reloading

:using IMR 3450, 165gn Hdy Gmx bullet & 56.6 GRN powder (max load) or 165gn sie SPBT bullet & 60gn of powder ( max load ) so same bullet weight , same powder but big difference in powder charge it verys even more on other sights though some of the companys only publish small amounts or old info online preferring to sell a book instead like Hornady there websight is crap. Iv got IMR 3450 , Winchester 760 powder & 2 sample pacs of 165 SST & 155 A-MAX
Has anyone got data for those powder , projectile combos ?
    Cheers

GMX is a solid mate, not lead core with copper jacket. Like barnes in a way. That's why they are different

    I used 165gr SST and 56.5gr ADI 2209. Gave about 2700 fps from a 22" barrel. I went upto 58gr and got 2800fps but accuracy wasn't great.

I wouldn't worry about matching bullet type etc exactly to load data, pick any recipe that's in the weight range you intend to use, start out low and work your way up.

    Yep as above.
The gmx seems quite hard to engrave so pressure hit with lower charges than the usual cup and core....barnes have grooves cut to reduce bearing surface and pressure and can be the opposite taking more powder than equivilent cup and core.

Goodo then il do that...according to Mr Hodgdon 60grn of 4350 with a 165 spbt in a 24 inch barrel will do 2934 Fps be interesting to see what the sst or A-max can do.
    Cheers Guys.

current load is 178gn Amax they shoot pretty good just trying to flatten trajectory a bit , iv never been much of a long range shooter (500m is long range by my standards ! ) so that's the name of the game , be interesting to see if removing the copper from barrel has made much of a diff , got a K zone shooting rest now as well as a S1 turret so I can dial now, should be all set in a day or two to hit the range .
