Especially with 303british. A lot depends on the load, min load 38gr of 2208 sees slow stretch 1 or 2 thou, max load and 3 or 4 thou stretch per shot is what I see so a trim every few loads (Lee's tool takes off 10thou). The Lee tool works out at $29, best used in a battery drill.
Also pick your brass with care, S&B ammo for instance needs a military decrimper tool to allow re-priming it also doesnt last well (Im told). The RCBS one is $40 but very good, you can use the $10 Lee tool if you have a lot of hours and fingers....
Winchester brass seem to reload fine, Im told Highland does but I havent tried any yet. The highland/privy Im told lasts well. I shoot 1942 ~ 1943 ex machine gun tracer brass that needs the de-crimp tool as well.
