    the picture on the box tells the story...310s are hand dies
    the bit LOOKS like a neck die to me.....it has shoulder and skinnier neck inside so would ASSUME its to resize case..unless there is a pin of some sort coming up from other end,in which case it COULD be for projectile seating...having not used 310s before Im JUST BEST GUESSING HERE.
