    Magneto question

Can someone give me the distance from bore to unit for best results. The one I have borrowed has no instructions but has a lot of shims and I don’t want to f@&k it.

As Brian said. Lay the square rod on top of the pick up sensor and the top of the rod should level with the bottom of the hole in the DPT. Use spacers to adjust until correct.

Just had a look and I haven’t got the square spacer rod. Should be able to work it out from here though.

I put a non ferrous rod in the barrel. Gives a better indication with tapered barrels of how straight and the distance.
