Gabapentin, you're obviously doing better than me. I got to the second dose level (400mg, 2 pills at breakfast then one at lunch and one at dinner 4 per day) and was completely pissed, couldn't stand up and stay up half the time, hot water flowing over my skin, eyes not focusing together, slurred speech, farts that sometimes weren't - awesome. We made a collective decision that that probably wasn't the best option for me as far as medications go haha

Then the GP comes out with the pearler statement that some of his patients are on 2500mg - A DAY!!!!!!! WTF?

    Conclusion - cheap drunk.

Yes you can have 2700mg a day. I've been up at 1800 but my driving suffered. Not a good look for an airline pilot.

Your driving suffered? Bloody hell, my 'awake' would be whats suffering at that dose level. Driving just would not be possible I suspect, and if I did I doubt very much I'd be able to get to the road let alone drive and remain on the road...
