    Minimum load 2208

    Hi guys
    Looking for minimum load data for 308, 2208 powder, 168 or 180g projectile.

    Sorry it was coming up with no data but I’ve cleared the bullet type and it’s now giving me 42g starting load.

    If you are looking for light loads AR2206H could be a better bet. There is good info on the Hodgdons website but in general you can load down to 60% of the maximum listed for the projectile you are using. I used 38 grains of AR2206H behind the 150 grain projectile for around 2,350 fps for a light target load and 32 grains behind the 155 grain Frontier plated projectile for just under 2,000 fps for a light practise load all in the .308. It burns a bit dirty at those levels but is accurate. You can only use AR2206H (H4895) this way.
