Replace shouldnt be an issue and they do the same to there supplier who dose from theres

i had issues with american eagle (federal) 44mag, never once an issue with any hornady in any caliber

Hornady 223, 1 misfire this weekend and 3 misfires Hornady again 3 weeks ago. Would piss me off if a shot that was meant to count. Easy fix, don't buy the shit. Rifles find on about 5 other different makes

6.5 grendel Hornady SST I've had 3 or 4 per 20 that didn't fire. Most fired the second time but 2 didn't. These seemed to be ones that had particularly short cartridge headspace dimension ( base to 0.350" shoulder). However, I've had a couple of similar no- fires while fire forming new lapua brass too. The lapua also seems shorter than Saami by my measuring technique. As far as I can tell my chamber is not too long and firing pin protrusion is .050". It could be the ammo is made to minimum specs so it won't jam in AR as a lot of grendel is used in that platform. Mine is a sako vixen based custom. The action and firing spring are 30 years old.

I still have an open mind whether it's a manufacturing problem or not. Haven't asked for a refund.

I was getting a few with some old CCI primers I had given to me, quite a few years old. Got some new ones , no problem with my reloads now and I haven't bought any store cartridges for yonks.
