Lucky it didn't jam a projectile in your bore. Have had the same thing with a handload that came with a rifle I bought, had used heaps of the handloads that came with it no worries, then I had to euthanize a cow one day, walked up to it, loaded a round, poof! Thought to myself what the hell happened there, turns out the inside of the brass was still shiny and clean, must have had no powder in it, but the primer had still jammed the projectile in the bore, had to take it to gunworks to get it out
