Most destructive projectile I have seen in 8 years of shooting rabbits in Cromwell is the 35gr Hornady Vmax from a 22 Hornet.

Damage is comparable to a 12g at point blank range...

I've tried those Winchester 50 round box's with the 55gr PSP, had 4 misfires already and I still have 1/2 the box left :o

Whoops, dud then! Had a couple in my last box of factory winchester 308, primers had been pushed in to far

I've put more than 300 rounds of that American Eagle 50g stuff through my AR, not one misfire.
Reasonably accurate too.

Most destructive probably 40/50g Vmax

Same happened in my t3, was multiple rounds too

Milspec AR ammo has harder than standard primers.

I am a huge fan of the 55grn vmax. Works really well on rabbit as long as you don't want to use any of the meat :)
