Thread: Mounting a magnetospeed v3 to picatinny rail

I've had a look online and seen a few set ups where shooters have mounted a v3 to a picatinny rail so poi is not affected. Commercial versions are also available. I have a couple of rifles with a short section of rail mounted under the stock at the front sling swivel position. I was thinking of mounting a piece of alloy pipe in a couple of rings to this rail and then mounting something to that to secure/line up the sensor wand thingy. Has anyone locally had a crack at this and if so how did it work out any tips/ideas greatfully recieved.
