    Neck Die galling 223 brass

I got a new box of Lapua brass(cardboard box) but at some time it has been dropped on one corner. With my new Hornady neck die I thought I would run them all through.even tension, round up any ovals etc.Using Graphite powder and #7 shot I set to.At 40 I noticed the necks were galled, starting at around 10 and getting worse,I stripped the die and cleaned with a bronze bore brush, still doing the same.
with full length dies I always use Lee lube and have no problems with any cal.for years
Have I got a stuffed Die?
Have I got 30 stuffed cases?
Have tried to take a photo but they don't show the marks, vertical galls the full length of the neck.can be felt with thumbnail when rotated.
    Thoughts please anyone.
Real guns start with the number 3 or bigger and make two holes, one in and one out

    Been there done that....
Take the die apart polish off the brass stuck in/on it.
You can see it stuck to the die.....
Then use different lube on the necks, otherwise it will just keep happening.....
The lapua neck is quite soft & scratches easily...
The brass will be fine after a couple of firings you won't see it

Autosol, a soft rag and some elbow grease will do a good job too.
