looking for a load for seirra 155grain hpbt "palma" projectiles
youd be looking around 46-47 gr 2208
45.1gr of 2208 is our clubs pet NRA load. Pretty hard to go wrong.
is that for the "palma" projectile?
can any one send me a copy of the pages from a reloading book
I load for 2 different .308's (Browning Shorttrac & Ruger Hawkeye) both love the exact same load: 150gr Sierra Pro-hunter, 47.0gr AR2208, Rem brass, cc1 200 primers. It's not the fastest combo (especially with the Browning) but they both shoot under 1" at 100yds.
i ran a test load for my .308 with 155g bob dyre palma bullets (aussie made) everything from 44 to 47.5g of 2208 shot well under an inch at 200, i was like, errrr......... hmmmmmm which one do i pick?????????? settled on 47g and found it is very impressive.

I run a 155 Scenar with 45 grains of 2206H for 2870 FPS in a 24 inch AR-10 Barrel.
I'm using a light 44.5gn of 2208 with 155gn match projectiles (Scenar and A-Max)
Hey bryan. Im not sure if this is the thing to do but I was wondering if i could buy a few of your rounds off you to try through my Ruger m77 mkll? Im strugling to find a good round for it! I live in Te Puke so being able to pick it is not a worry. Cheers
