Just had this rifle put together by north canterbury gunsmithing
Started life as a bergara hmr 6.5 creedmoor. Was very accurate, but I get bored easy so wanted a change.
Picked up the stock and barrel for a good deal and it is now a "custom" 6.5 creedmoor, proof research barrel 26" long, hardy bottom metal, I think hardy carbon stock, and dpt muzzle forward.
Kept the 20moa rail and Bushnell scope from previous rifle.
Started the process with hornady once fired brass, fed magnum primers, eldm 147, 2209 all full length sized and annealed, I don't bother with any other case prep.
Loaded to just shy of mag length which is still a reasonable jump to lands. Oal 2.880
Ladder was 39.5 to 43.5 all shot over the Labradar
2557
2598
2641
2672
2726
2736
2775
2801
2835
No pressure signs throughout, the primers were semi flat, but consistent, probably just a bit of excess head space from full length sizing. Shot a pretty good 9 shot group considering the ES was nearly 300fps.... and didn't muck around with barrel cooling etc.
I went between charges and loaded 5 x at 42.8. Shot a group around .5moa as expected with ladder shot previously. Es 14fps. Job done.
All done at handloaders with there equipment, so handy being able to load a ladder then load more, then shoot, then load the full batch. Plus the amp annealer is a great bit of kit.
Cheers and feel free to add others experience with similar components
