    New Berger Hunting Hybrids

I know this has been talked about before but thought I'd post this link anyway. The 95gr would be great in a .243 Win.

that 95gr 243 might be worth a try in my rig... 87Vmax is deadly accurate but the berger hybrid may perform better close on bigger animals? Cant fault the Vmax out further but not tried close on deer

Yeah it would be. Hopefully short enough to work in the 1:10 twist. Anyone know the BC?

Was in the pic in the article...1:10 and .436 from memory, 87gr Vmax is .400 but the extra speed I have with them will allmost even things up

I'm quite liking the idea of a 243 for my next gun... just so versatile. Everything from 55gr varmint rounds @ 4000fps to 0.5+ BC from some of the heavier ones.

They would be consistent long range varmint bullets and still no slouch on big stuff no doubt. 1:8 twist .243 would be awesome.

The above Berger hybrid, based on the quoted BC and weight and twist, sounds like an expensive version of a Targex pill to me.
Where he say long range rabbits? He just said versatile? 55 would e like a laser to 300. 243ai 1n8 should be only thing made:thumbup:

I never herd him say blow up like targex pill?

POO 4 3's!! They are only any good if they have their barrels sharpened and are chucked like spears.
Or better yet tie a string to them and swing them around as fast as you can above your head until ya bugger it up an knock yourself out.
It can only be just deserts for using one of the horrible things.
Do what ya want! Ya will anyway.

Worth mentioning that the 105g projectile would be no less lazer like would it?

Iv heard of a tremendous number of blown up targex pills recovered from dead animals

He would never admit the targex made bigger dents in the steel at 630m when we sort of tested to see which did over 105 amax
