You don't need huge speed for the high BC pills to be effective. Better to use a more efficient cartridge that fits in a factory rifle with no modifications or custom barrel/chamber. Buy ammo off the shelf.

The 6ARC is very alluring for this reason. In the USA you can get 20 rounds of Hornady Match for USD $20-30, buy a rifle off the shelf and go shoot 600m+
